Registrar Lock is a status code that can be set on an Internet domain name by the sponsoring registrar of the domain name. This is usually done in order to prevent unauthorized, unwanted or accidental changes to the domain name.

This article will demonstrate how to enable and disable registrar lock.

1) Sign in to the your Hostingli Account.

Click the second box labelled "Domains".

 
 
3) Click on the settings icon on the right hand side of the domain and select "Manage Domain".

 
 
4) Click the Registrar Lock tab at the left hand side menu of the subsequent page (the fourth tab over left to right).
 


 
5) On this page, if Registrar Lock is activated, it may be disabled. If it is deactivated, it is possible to enable it. To do either, click the "grey" button.
